I was lucky enough to get a table at the ARKANSAS CUSTOM KNIFE SHOW on Februrary 18th and 19th. I'm very excited as this event will have some of the country's greatest knife makers and some of my own personal favorites. Just a reminder to keep checking out my Cold Iron Blog for my latest work and projects on the bench. Also... anybody thinking of making a kiridashi order to be completed in time for Christmas... better put it in! Things are filling up very fast....

Just got back from Blade Show and it was a great time. I learned a ton and met a lot of great people. I'm now going to start maintaining my 'Available Knives' section, so please check in now and then to see what is there. I will also now start taking commissions on laminated steel blades using 416 Stainless Steel and High Carbon. It looks amazing as well as combining the best of each steel into one blade. Check out the kiridashi in my available section to get an idea of what this looks like. Other news is that my hydraulic press is finally done which means I will be working out methods for pattern welded steel and modern 'damascus'. This is a huge addition to my shop and you will soon start seeing a different dimension to my work. Also, I've recently started working with the folks at Huckberry where some of my work will be showcased in early July.
