Carved Viking knife

I was recently inspired by the carving on a shipwright’s folding knife from the Viking age (found in Canterbury) so I did a quick little project based on that. Mine obviously isn’t a folder but the carving is a pretty close reproduction.  The handle is curly maple and the spacer is fossil walrus jaw bone.  The blade is forged 1075 tool steel and is 3.5″ long. The overall length is 8″.  It comes with a Viking period sheath.
