Ordering Policies

I do not usually carry stock of anything as each piece I make is a special and unique work of art. All the materials for the knife are selected with great care and some are antique or even ancient in origin. Many of the designs on my website can be made again, although, due to the nature of my work spontaneous variations occur (usually for the better!). I really enjoy working closely with my clients on a design and am open to most ideas as long as they are within my scope of talent, resources and style. However, I will only agree to a design if it conforms to my particular style and standard for craftmanship. I can work from detailed drawings or abstract conversations (as long as dimensions are provided!). Please note: I DO NOT INLAY OR ENGRAVE.

My forged work generally starts at $30 per total knife inch with additional charges for metal fittings, laminated steel, hamon polishing, and certain rare materials or materials that I don't carry in my shop. The Longhunter knives are priced at approximately $15 per total knife inch with additional charges for special handle material. Please contact me for a specific price quote.

- Delivery times depend upon my current workload and the nature of the work, but usually run one to 3 months.

- A 40% deposit is required to solidify the order, with the balance due for delivery.

- The finished knife must be fully paid within two weeks of completion or deposit is forfeited.
